       Back in 1996, during a wave of corporate layoffs, a computer developer found his future suddenly freed up to pursue his dreams, and BOOKS For Less was born! Jack Mason started BOOKS For Less with a little over 15,000 books and some bookcases built by the Mason family over a Christmas break. Jack's son, Bryan, joined him in 1998 after graduating from college and the rest, as they say, is history.

       Since then, BOOKS For Less has grown to 2 locations, each more than triple the size of the original store. BOOKS For Less takes pride in serving customers from the heart and helping people find the books they love. More importantly, BOOKS For Less exists to glorify God and serve as a counterbalance to many of the secular, liberal bookstore chains which currently dominate the United States. It is our vision to see that trend reversed.
